Upson Commits to Bentley University

Ryan Upson has committed to Bentley University Falcons for the 2022/23 season.

Upson spent three seasons in the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) including the 2021/22 season with the Langley Rivermen, where he had 18 goals and 26 assists in 46 games. He spent the 2020/21 season with the Penticton Vees where he recorded 21 points in 20 games, and the 2019/20 season with the West Kelowna Warriors, tallying 12 points in 54 games.

Prior to joining the BCHL, the West Vancouver, BC forward spent three years in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) with West Van Academy. He joined the CSSHL in 2016/17, recording 16 points in 29 U16 Prep games. In 2017/18 he would finish with 33 points in 36 games, before exploding for 18 goals and 42 assists during the 2018/19 season.

The Falcons are an NCAA Division I program located in Waltham, Massachusetts and compete in the Atlantic Hockey Conference (AHA).
