The Seattle Thunderbirds have signed a pair of their 2025 WHL Draft picks to WHL Scholarship and Development Agreements.
The Thunderbirds selected Kane Nicholas in the second round, 45th overall. The Campbell River, BC forward joined BWC Academy for the 2024/25 CSSHL U15 Prep season. In 35 games Nicholas led his team with 41 assists, while his 62 points in 35 games ranked third in team scoring.
Dylan Sherban was taken by the Thunderbirds three selection later in the third round. The Rocky View, AB forward joined the CSSHL in 2023/24 with the Edge School U15 team, tallying 36 points in 28 games. This past U15 Prep season he recorded 30 points in 29 games with the Edge U15 Prep team.
