Spruce Kings Sign Three

The Prince George Spruce Kings have signed three Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) student-athletes for the 2022/23 British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) season.

Luca Primerano spent the last four seasons in the CSSHL with BWC Academy, joining the program in 2018/19 registering 19 goals and 26 assists in 30 U15 games. The North Vancouver, BC forward would score 11 goals and 25 assists in 30 U15 Prep games the following season, before adding 12 goals and 1 assist in 5 U16 Prep games in 2020/21. Primerano would score 23 goals and record a team high 35 assists and 58 points in 35 U18 Prep games during the 2021/22 campaign. He would add an additional four goals and five assists in five playoff games helping BWC Academy capture a U18 Prep CSSHL League Championship.

A defenseman from Kelowna, BC, Luke Schraeder joined RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna for the 2021/22 U18 Prep season. In 33 games he recorded 4 goals and 15 assists.

A teammate of Schraeder’s, Brayden Skogstad played 27 games this season with RHA Kelowna. The Kelowna, BC forward tallied 8 goals and 14 assists.
