The Victoria Royals have signed Okanagan Hockey Academy (OHA) forward Wyatt Danyleyko to a Western Hockey League (WHL) Scholarship and Development agreement after they selected him in the sixth round, 123rd overall at the 2022 WHL Draft.
Danyleyko has spent the past two seasons in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL). The Victoria, BC forward originally joined the league with Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (PCHA) for the 2021/22 U15 Prep season. In 30 games he would record 26 points.
He would split the 2022/23 season with the OHA U17 Prep and U18 Prep teams, playing in 16 games for each. He would score 5 goals and 10 assists for the U17 Prep team before finishing the season with 9 goals and 15 assists with the U18 Prep team.
