The Red Deer Rebels have signed Canadian Sport School Hockey League student athlete Matteo Fabrizi to a Western Hockey League Standard Player Agreement.
Fabrizi, 15, attended the Yale Hockey Academy this past season, registering 18 points (3-15-18) in 23 games with their U15 Prep team.
The six-foot-three defenceman also added two assists in two games at the 2020 BDO CSSHL Championships.
Fabrizi was selected by the Rebels in the second round, 31st overall, at the 2020 WHL Bantam Draft.
