Caronport, SK – August 30, 2025 – Prairie Hockey Academy is proud to announce the addition of Taras McEwen as the new Head Coach of the U18 Prep team.
McEwen brings a wealth of experience from his time in the Western Hockey League, where he served both as an assistant and head coach. His leadership, professionalism, and commitment to player development will be an asset to the program.
“Taras brings a level of maturity and professionalism from his time in the Western League,” said Erik Robitaille, Director of Hockey Operations. “His eye for development, attention to detail, and ability to build strong systems will make him a tremendous addition to our staff. We are incredibly excited to welcome him to Prairie Hockey Academy.”
The Prairie Hockey Academy continues to build on its mission of Building Life Champions, and the addition of McEwen reflects the academy’s commitment to providing players with top-tier coaching and mentorship both on and off the ice.
