CSSHL student-athletes and 2025 WHL Draft first round picks Kalen Miles and Athens Shingoose have signed WHL Scholarship and Development Agreements with their respective teams.
Miles joined the Northern Alberta Xtreme (NAX) for the 2023/24 CSSHL U15 season. The Edmonton, AB forward finished the regular season with 52 points in 27 regular season games before adding 9 points in 5 playoff games to help NAX capture the 2024 CSSHL U15 Western Championship.
This past U15 Prep season Miles tallied 28 goals and 29 assists for 57 points in 36 games. Miles has signed with the Wenatchee Wild after they selected him 10th overall at the 2025 WHL Draft.
A forward from Waywayseecapo, MB, Shingoose joined RHA Winnipeg for the 2024/25 CSSHL U15 Prep season. He would lead his team with 31 goals, 29 assists and 60 points in 32 games. His 31 goals ranked fifth in the U15 Prep division as he earned CSSHL U15 Prep Prairie Division First Team All-Star honours.
Shingoose has signed with the Prince Albert Raiders after they selected him 16th overall at the 2025 WHL Draft.
