OHO would secure the win only 33 seconds after that as Kenton Wong (1G, 1A) scored another power play marker, increasing the deficit to two. Reid Penney (23/25) would stop 23 shots to earn his first win of the season. Cedrick Provencher (43/47) faced 47 shots in the loss.

Liam Boone (1G, 1A) got KES on the board midway through the period and Jagger Hann tallied his first of the season as the home side started to show signs of life. But Moores put the game to bed early in the third and a power play goal by Will McMullen late in the game gave RNS their first ever CSSHL win. Cesare Della Santina (27/29) made 27 saves to record the victory.
