BWC Academy (3) vs OHA Edmonton (4) U15
OHA Edmonton’s start to their U15 game against the high-flying BWC Lions set them up for success. They’d score twice early to take the lead, and while BWC fought their way back into it, OHA Edmonton managed to respond quickly every time BWC tied it. Wenatchee Wild prospect Kalen Miles scored four goals and seven points for NAX in those three wins and had that beat go on for him early in the first period, hitting the back of the net to give NAX their jumping-off point for Sunday night. He’d add another assist with Matthew Coyle (18/19), allowing just one goal for the second consecutive game, having made 27 saves on 28 shots in his last start against RHA Winnipeg. Matheas Hejda scored his first goal since early October, his first in eight games, which stood as the game-winner.
Edge School (3) vs OHA Edmonton (2) U17
The U17 clash between Edge School and OHA Edmonton was somewhat low event heading into the third period. Through 55 of the 60 minutes in the game, Edge had scored the only two goals in the game, with one at the start of the first and one at the start of the second, seemingly sending them on their way. However, OHA Edmonton threw a wrench in those plans, with the lead being cut in half before OHAE ended up shorthanded. Threatened with going back down by two, Ayden Stuckless instead stole the show for himself, tying the game shorthanded for OHAE. However, Edge School still had powerplay time to work with. Less than a minute after the tying goal hit the back of the net, Easton Armstrong forced home his second of the game, and with 97 seconds left, Armstrong’s goal was enough. Edge School prevailed 3-2.
Okanagan Hockey Academy (3) vs Balmoral Hall School Female (0) U18 Prep

With under 90 seconds remaining, NAX broke through, with Mason Zimmer stealing the puck in the offensive zone and snapping a shot home from the high slot to make it 2-1. Steven Leavitt and Micah Montgomery scored in the first period, with Montgomery’s goal standing as the game-winner in OHAE’s 4-2 victory.
Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (5) vs STAR Hockey Academy (3) U15
Half of the hockey game was frustrating for PCHA. They hammered on the STAR Hockey Academy door for the entirety of the first 35 minutes, and did manage to score two, but despite heavily outplaying their opponents, they were still behind thanks to STAR holding a 3-2 lead through a pair of Matthew Atherley (2G, 1A) goals. While Zachary Kolar’s (44/49) efforts were valiant throughout, he could only keep STAR in the lead for so long. Gus Steeves (2G, 1A), Nolan Riley, and Austin Murray scored in the last five minutes of the second period to turn the game around, and from there, the 5-3 lead established by PCHA was enough to see them over the finish line to victory.
Shawnigan Lake School (0) vs South Alberta Hockey Academy (7) Female U18 Prep
Shawnigan Lake School’s Female U18 Prep squad never stopped fighting in their Sunday evening game with the South Alberta Hockey Academy, but SAHA’s persistent offensive pressure broke down the door. Sunday finished off with a thriller. In less than four and a half minutes in the first period, Delta Hockey Academy Black and Yale Hockey Academy’s U15 squads broke down the offensive floodgates, setting the stage for the back-and-forth affair. DHAB scored two in 24 seconds to take a two-goal lead, but Yale went on a run of three straight goals, and the drama wouldn’t end there. Heading towards the last two minutes of the third period, the game remained locked 5-5 before Zach Giles (2G) seemingly gave Delta the telling blow. 24 seconds after that, though, Yale would yet again have something to say, with Carson Maclean’s goal dragging the game back to level at six. Overtime lasted less than a minute, with Wynn Carey (2G) making an excellent turn in the neutral zone to break in wide to the left and score five-hole, giving DHAB the thrilling 7-6 overtime victory.
