Prairie Hockey Academy (0) vs Notre Dame (5) U17 Prep

Notre Dame scored three second period goals in a six minute span as they defeated Prairie 5-0. Josh Muir (21/21) earned his 10th win and second shutout of the 2021/22 season. Gabriel Bugeaud (2G,1A), Wyatt Davis, and Ryan Zabchuk (2G) all scored for Notre Dame. Chad Bates (2A) and Baden Powell (2A) each had two assists in the win. Silas Currie stopped 52/57 in the loss. 

Prairie Hockey Academy (1) vs Notre Dame (2) U18 Prep

Ethan Dekay scored his 12th of the year with just one second left in the first as PHA held a 1-0 lead after 20. Wesley Wilding (2G) would tie the game on the power play 12:50 into the middle frame, and would notch another power play marker 13:31 into the third as Notre Dame defeated PHA 2-1. Oliver Tuchenhagen (43/44) was solid in net for Notre Dame in the win, while Michael Malinowski stopped 34 of 36 in the loss.

OHA Edmonton (3) vs Northern Alberta Xtreme (13) U16 Prep

NAX scored five goals in the first, three in the second, and five more in the third, outshooting OHA Edmonton 59-32 in a 13-3 win. All but two NAX skaters recorded at least a single point in the win, with Luke Davies (3G,2A), Kayden Longley (2G,3A) and Brock Souch (2G,3A) all leading the way with five points. Landon Hanson, Matt Paranych, and Austin Robinson scored for OHA Edmonton in the loss. 

December 15, 2021

Notre Dame (6) vs Prairie Hockey Academy (1) U16 Prep

Despite being outshot 38-25 Notre Dame won 6-1 thanks to four power play goals. Finn Carlstedt (2G,1A) and Danila Shiriaev (2G,2A) each scored twice and 2021 second round WHL Draft pick Ethan McCallum made 37 saves in the win. Carter Hynes (2A) and Ethan Sautner (2A) each picked up two assists for Notre Dame, who got their third win of the season. Cole King scored the lone goal for Prairie. 

December 16, 2021

Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (1) vs Shawnigan Lake School (3) U18 Prep

Pacific Coast would grab a 1-0 lead on a Brendon Hall goal 4:23 into the first period. But Liam Bridger (2G) would tie the game late in the first period. Jonatan Raatikainen would score 6:15 into the second to give Shawnigan their first lead of the game. Bridger scored an empty netter with 1:47 left to secure the Shawnigan win. Sean Walia made 24 saves in the win. Mason Briske stopped 42 of 44 for PCHA.
