Five current of former CSSHL student-athletes have signed WHL Scholarship and Development Agreements with their respective teams.
A netminder from Dallas, Texas, Blake Clark joined the CSSHL for the 2023/24 U15 Prep season. In 15 games with Delta Hockey Academy Green he went 11-0-0 with 2 shutouts, a 2.81 GAA and .875 SV% leading to the Portland Winterhawks selecting him in the 11th round of the 2024 WHL Draft. Last season Clark went 7-5-0 with 1 shutout, a 2.81 GAA and .885 SV% with the Delta U17 Prep team.
Selected in the 11th round of the 2022 WHL Draft by the Prince Albert Raiders, Hubert Clarke joined the Northern Alberta Xtreme for the 2023/24 U17 Prep season. The Norway House, MB defenseman would record 39 points in 27 games with NAX that season. Committed to Western Michigan University, Clark has one assist in two games with the Raiders this season.
A forward from Grande Prairie, AB, Logan Miller has signed with the Seattle Thunderbirds after going undrafted at the 2023 WHL Draft. Miller joined OHA Edmonton for the 2024/25 U17 Prep season finishing fourth in team scoring with 50 points in 35 games.
Quinn Pickering will return to the CSSHL with St. George’s School for the 2025/26 U17 Prep season. The West Vancouver, BC defender joined St. George’s for the 2024/25 U15 Prep season, tallying 38 points in 36 games. The Swift Current Broncos selected Pickering in the fourth round of the 2025 WHL Draft.
Undrafted to the WHL, Dayton Reschny has signed with the Medicine Hat Tigers after spending the 2024/25 season in the AJHL with the Bonnyville Pontiacs. The Macklin, SK forward tallied 21 points in 34 U16 Prep games with Prairie Hockey Academy during the 2021/22 CSSHL season. Reschny had three points in three games with the Tigers this season.
