CSSHL Releases 2023 Western Championship Schedules

The Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) has released the 2023 CSSHL Western Championship schedules for all six western divisions.

The 2023 CSSHL Western Championships will run from March 6-19, 2023 in Penticton, BC and kick-off with the U15 division, which will see its final take place on March 11th. All 10 U15 teams will compete to be named champions of the division. Edge School are the current defending champions.

The U15 Prep Western Championships will see the Top 12 teams compete for the championship from March 8-12. The remaining five teams will each play three consolation games, with 13th place playing four, from March 9-12. Delta Hockey Academy Green are the current U15 Prep CSSHL Champions.

The U17 Prep division will follow the same format as the U15 Prep division, with the Top 12 teams compete for the championship from March 11-15. The remaining five teams will each play three consolation games, with 13th place playing four, from March 11-14. 2022 saw Delta Hockey Academy win the CSSHL Western Championships.

Eight teams from the Female U18 Prep division will look to be crowned 2023 CSSHL Champions from March 12-16. The remaining four teams will each play each other from March 12-14 in consolation games. RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna are the defending champions of the Female U18 Prep division.

All 11 teams from the U16 Prep division will compete for the right to be named division champion from March 14-19, 2022. The Northern Alberta Xtreme, who no longer compete in the U16 Prep division, won the CSSHL Championship in 2022.

From March 15-19 the Top 12 U18 Prep teams will compete for the CSSHL Western Championship. The remaining seven teams will all play consolation games from March 17-19. BWC Academy are the current U18 Prep defending champions.
