Canadian Sport School Hockey League alum Scott Walford will attend and play USports hockey with McGill University next season.

The Coquitlam, B.C. product would go on to play five seasons in the Western Hockey League, four of them with the Victoria Royals and one with the Saskatoon Blades. In 290 career WHL games, Walford recorded 174 points (30-144-174), while also serving as an assistant captain in three separate seasons.

Walford was selected in the third round, 68th overall, by the Montreal Canadiens at the 2017 NHL Draft, and was also selected in the first round, 18th overall, by the Royals at the 2014 WHL Bantam Draft.
