Northern Alberta Xtreme (NAX) forwards Teagen Bouchard and Brady Ondrus have signed WHL Scholarship and Development Agreements with the Kamloops Blazers.
Bouchard and Ondrus both joined NAX for the 2023/24 CSSHL U15 season. In 23 games Bouchard, a forward from Falher, AB, recorded 15 goals and 18 assists. Ondrus would add 18 goals and 31 assists in 28 games. In five playoff games Bouchard would add 8 goals and 7 assists while Ondrus tallied 4 goals and 7 assists as NAX were crowned the 2024 CSSHL U15 Western Champions.
This past season Bouchard would produce 21 goals and 40 assists in 30 U15 Prep games with NAX as he was named a CSSHL Prairie Division Second Team All-Star and MVP Award Finalist. The Blazers selected Bouchard in the first round, 14th overall at the 2025 WHL Draft earlier this month.
Ondrus would finish with 26 goals and 25 assists for 51 points in 35 U15 Prep games. The Blazers would use a second round selection on the Sherwood Park, AB forward, drafting him 29th overall at the 2025 WHL Draft.
