The Brooks Bandits have signed a pair of players with ties to the Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) for the 2022/23 Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) season.
A forward from Mississauga, ON, Ethan DeKay has spent the last two seasons in the CSSHL with Prairie Hockey Academy (PHA). Joining the league in 2020/21, DeKay recorded four goals and five assists in six U17 Prep games. This past season he would lead the PHA U18 Prep team with 20 goals, 25 assists, and 45 points in 35 games while being named a finalist for the CSSHL U18 Prep MVP Award.
Luke Marshall spent the 2019/20 and 2020/21 seasons with the Notre Dame Hounds. In 41 games split between the Notre Dame U16 Prep and U17 Prep teams, the Saskatoon, SK defenseman would tally 3 goals and 4 assists.
