RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna (Kelowna, BC) have won their second trophy of the 2026 CSSHL Western Championships with a 4-3 victory over Pilot Mound Hockey Academy (Pilot Mound, MB) in the U15 Prep Division II playoffs.
It was an action packed first for RHA Kelowna as Cash Hunter opened the scoring 2:23 in. Dexter Labrecque doubled the lead 2:20 later before Trent Keenan added his first of the playoffs midway through the period. Ben Tyssen added a shorthanded marker with 1:03 left in the period as RHA Kelowna took a commanding 4-0 lead.
Pilot Mound would come alive in the second as Brock Vodden got them on the board with a power play marker midway through the period. Wyatt Wentworth added his second of the playoffs with eight seconds left in the period to make it a 4-2 game heading into the third.
Edin Korajac would find the back of the net on the power play 5:30 into the third as Pilot Mound continued to claw their way back. The comeback attempt would ultimately come up short as Max Davis (26/29) shut the door the rest of the way to secure the RHA Kelowna win.
