Jaxsen Wyatt has committed to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) Rebels for the 2022/23 season, joining his brother Cole who spent the 2021/22 season with the program.
Wyatt spent two seasons in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) with the Northern Alberta Xtreme (NAX). He would record 14 points in 27 U16 Prep games during the 2016/17 season, before helping the NAX U18 Prep team capture a CSSHL League Championship the following year.
The Sherwood Park, AB defenseman would then join the Spruce Grove Saints for the 2018/19 Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) season. Wyatt would spend three seasons in the AJHL, suiting up for the Saints, Brooks Bandits, Bonnyville Pontiacs, and Calgary Canucks, tallying 36 points in 120 games.
The UNLV Men’s Hockey program is part of the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) Men’s Division 1, and member of the Western Collegiate Hockey League (WCHL).
