The Portland Winterhawks have signed Canadian Sport School Hockey League student athlete Josh Mori to a Western Hockey League Standard Player Agreement.
Mori, 15, is currently attended St. George’s School, where he has recorded 29 points (7-22-29) in 24 games with their Elite 15 team this season, as well as appearing in five games with their Midget Prep team, collecting one goal and one assist.
The Richmond, B.C. product attended the Delta Hockey Academy during the 2018-19 season, where he registered 11 points (3-8-11) in 21 games with their Bantam Prep Green team.
The 5-foot-10 defenceman was selected in the eighth round, 168th overall, by the Winterhawks at the 2019 WHL Bantam Draft.
