Welcome to the 2019-20 CSSHL season

“We would like to take this time to welcome everyone to the 2019-20 Canadian Sport School Hockey League season.

This is a very exciting time as we enter our 11th season, and the first season we are officially coast-to-coast as we welcome the Canadian International Hockey (CIH) Academy (Rockland, Ont.), the Hill Academy (Vaughan, Ont.), Okanagan Hockey Ontario (Whitby, Ont.), Ontario Hockey Academy (Cornwall, Ont.), Mount Academy (Charlottetown, P.E.I.) and Westlake Bourget College (Rigaud, Que.). These six programs will spearhead our Eastern Conference and we are very excited to watch the CSSHL grow in Eastern Canada.

Back in 2009, when five like-minded Hockey Canada Accredited Schools came together to launch the CSSHL, they made sure the focus was not only placed on hockey, but that education of young student athletes is of the utmost importance. We pride ourselves on not only developing student athletes on the ice, but also inspiring them off the ice. We want student athletes to leave our programs prepared to face the next step in their life, whether it be moving on to play at the next level, post-secondary education, the workforce, or wherever their path may lead them.

We look forward to seeing the development of our student athletes on and off the ice throughout the next 10 months and wish everyone a successful and safe season!”

Sincerely,
Kevin Goodwin
Chief Operating Officer
