The Spokane Chiefs have signed Canadian Sport School Hockey League student athlete Saige Weinstein to a Western Hockey League Standard Player Agreement.
Weinstein, 14, attended the Northern Albert Xtreme this past season, recording 20 points (4-16-20) in 23 games with their U15 Prep team.
The Edmonton, Alta. product also appeared in two games during the 2020 BDO CSSHL Championships.
Weinstein, a 5-foot-10 defenceman, was selected in the first round, 18th overall, by the Chiefs at the 2020 WHL Bantam Draft.
