Warriors Sign Three CSSHL Student-Athletes

The Moose Jaw Warriors have signed three Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) student-athletes to Western Hockey League (WHL) Standard Player Agreements.

Selected in the first round, 14th overall at the 2022 WHL Draft, Connor Schmidt spent the 2021/22 season in the CSSHL with the Okanagan Hockey Academy (OHA) U15 Prep team. In 30 games the Sturgeon County, AB defenseman recorded 12 goals and 20 assists.

Kelowna, BC forward Max Finley joined RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna for the 2021/22 U15 Prep season, finishing second in team scoring with 31 goals and 21 assists in 26 games. The Warriors selected Finley in the second round, 25th overall at the 2022 WHL Draft.

Noah Degenstein has spent the last two seasons in the CSSHL with the Edge School U15 Prep team. In 30 games this season the Airdrie, AB forward recorded 8 goals and 22 assists. Moose Jaw drafted Degenstein in the second round, 36th overall at the 2022 WHL Draft.
