The Moose Jaw Warriors have signed Riley Thorpe and Cohen Williams to WHL Scholarship and Development Agreements.
Thorpe joined NAX in 2023/24 with their U17 Prep Blue team. In 29 games the St. Albert, AB forward finished second in team scoring with 39 points in 29 games, while his 20 goals were a team high. Thorpe was selected in the 11th round, 236th overall at the 2023 WHL Draft.
Selected in the second round, 40th overall by the Warriors at the 2024 WHL Draft, Cohen Williams has spent the last two CSSHL seasons with the Okanagan Hockey Academy (OHA) U15 Prep team. The Keremeos, BC defenseman tallied 14 points in 18 games in 2022/23, before recording 20 points in 27 games this past season.
