Wadsworth Signs WHL SPA with Chiefs

Cole Wadsworth has signed a Western Hockey League (WHL) Standard Player Agreement (SPA) with the Spokane Chiefs.

The Chiefs originally selected the Okanagan Hockey Academy (OHA) forward in the fourth round, 73rd overall in the 2021 WHL Draft.

Wadsworth has spent the last three seasons in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League in his hometown of Penticton, BC with OHA.

He joined the league in 2019/20, playing two seasons with the OHA U15 Prep team, recording 17 points in 37 games. In 29 games with the OHA Black U17 Prep team this season, Wadsworth scored 20 goals to go along with 28 assists.
