Unruh commits to Dartmouth College

Canadian Sport School Hockey League graduate Nicholas Unruh has committed to attend and play NCAA hockey at Dartmouth College.

Unruh, 18, attended the Edge School from 2015 to 2017.

During the 2016-17 season, he posted 25 points (11-14-25) in 25 games with the Edge School Midget Prep team, and then added two assists in five games to help his team capture the 2017 CSSHL Midget Prep Division Championship.

The year prior, Unruh had 26 points (11-15-26) in 35 games with the Edge School Elite 15 team.

The Calgary, Alta. product is currently in his second season with the BCHL’s Salmon Arm Silverbacks. In 95 career BCHL games, he has accumulated 56 points (26-30-56).

Located in Hanover, New Hampshire, Dartmouth College’s men’s ice hockey program competes in the NCAA Division I ECAC Hockey Conference. They have made the NCAA Frozen Four on four occasions, most recently in 1980.
