Umpherville to attend and play NCAA hockey at LIU

Canadian Sport School Hockey League student athlete Carrigan Umpherville has committed to attend and play NCAA hockey at Long Island University Brooklyn.

Umpherville, 17, is currently attending the Pilot Mound Hockey Academy and is in her first season in the CSSHL.

In 20 games this season, the Cross Lake, Man. product has netted 18 points (8-10-18) in 20 games with the Pilot Mound Hockey Academy Female Varsity team.

The Long Island University Brooklyn women’s ice hockey program will debut in the 2019-20 season and compete in the NCAA Division I New England Women’s Hockey Alliance (NEWHA).
