UBC Lands Two More CSSHL Student-Athletes

The University of British Columbia Thunderbirds have added two Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) student-athletes as Grace Elliott and Kailee Peppler will join the program for the 2021/22 season.

Elliott spent three seasons in the CSSHL playing for Delta Hockey Academy. She joined the Delta U17 Prep team during the 2017/18 season, recording 21 points in 23 games. The forward would record 20 points in 22 games in the Female U18 Prep division the following season. The Cloverdale, BC native would score five goals and add five assists in six games during the 2020/21 campaign.

A native of Saskatoon, SK, Peppler spent the 2020/21 COVID-19 pandemic shortened season with RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna, playing seven games at the Female U18 Prep level. The defenseman recorded 1 point and 2 penalty minutes on the season.

The Thunderbirds are located in Vancouver, BC, competing in the Canada West Conference in U SPORTS.

Elliott and Peppler will join Edge School student-athlete Mia Bierd with the Thunderbirds next season.
