The Yorkton Terriers have added a pair of former Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) student-athletes for the 2022/23 Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) season.
Jackson McDonnell spent two seasons in the CSSHL with the Northern Alberta Xtreme (NAX). During the 2018/19 campaign McDonell would record 4 goals and 2 assists during 26 U15 Prep games. The St. Albert, AB forward would add 7 goals and 2 assists the following season with the NAX U16 Prep team.
Cade van Brabant would spend the 2019/20 season competing against McDonell with the OHA Edmonton U16 Prep team. The Sturgeon County, AB product would lead all OHA Edmonton U16 Prep defenseman with 10 goals and 21 points in 35 games.
