Taylor to suit up for Rivermen next season

Canadian Sport School Hockey League student athlete Ashton Taylor will suit up for the British Columbia Hockey League’s Langley Rivermen next season.

Taylor, 17, attended the Okanagan Hockey Academy this past season, competing on their U18 Prep Red team, where he collected 35 points (14-21-35) in 35 games, along with adding three goals in two games at the 2020 BDO CSSHL Championships.

During the 2017-18 season, the Kamloops, B.C. product attended the Yale Hockey Academy, where he tallied 18 points (13-5-18) in 30 games with their U15 Prep team, while also registering one assist in two games with their U16 Prep team.

The 5-foot-10 forward appeared in two games with the Rivermen during the 2019-20 season.
