The Surrey Eagles of the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) have added a trio of Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) student-athletes with the signings of Joel Plante, Eli Pulver and Trent Wilson.
A three-year Yale Hockey Academy student-athlete, Plante played 64 CSSHL games at the U15, U15 Prep, and U17 Prep levels. The Langley, BC forward tallied 35 points, including 7 in 5 games during the COVID-19 shortened 2020/21 season.
Pulver has spent the past four seasons in the CSSHL with St. George’s School. He joined the program in 2017/18, playing for their U15 team. That year he would win a U15 CSSHL League Championship, while finishing with a division best 0.96 goals against average and .926 save percentage. He would play the following season with their U16 Prep team, being named to the leagues All-Academic Team, before spending two seasons with the St. George’s U18 Prep team.
Originally from Tsawwassen, BC, Wilson spent three years at Delta Hockey Academy playing for their U15 Prep, U16 Prep, and U18 Prep teams. In 67 CSSHL games Wilson would tally 27 goals and 35 assists, finishing second on his U16 Prep team scoring in 2019/20 with 41 points in 37 games.
