Sourdif Signs NHL Contract with Panthers

Western Hockey League (WHL) forward Justin Sourdif has signed a National Hockey League (NHL) Entry Level Contract with the Florida Panthers.

Drafted in the third round, 87th overall by the Florida Panthers in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft, Sourdif has 134 points in 147 WHL games, including finishing tied for third in WHL scoring with 34 points in 22 games with the Vancouver Giants during the 2020/21 season.

Sourdif played in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) from 2015-2017. In his first of two seasons with Delta Hockey Academy he won a CSSHL U15 Championship and CSSHL U15 Most Valuable Player award, while leading the U15 division in assists (22), goals (27) and points (49). The following season he would record 66 points in 29 U15 Prep games, leading to the Giants selecting him third overall in the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft.
