Regina signs BWC’s Taylor

The Regina Pats have signed Canadian Sport School Hockey League student athlete Marcus Taylor to a standard Western Hockey League (WHL) Player Agreement.

Taylor, 16, has attended the BWC Academy the past two seasons, most recently netting 17 points (3-14-17) in 35 games with their Elite 15 team, along with adding one goal in five games at the 2019 BDO CSSHL Championships.

The Coquitlam, B.C. product also appeared in five games with their Midget Prep team during the 2018-19 season.

The previous season, the six-foot defenceman had eight points (1-7-8) in 30 games with the BWC Academy Bantam Prep team.

Taylor was selected by the Pats in the ninth round, 192nd overall, at the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft.
