The Red Deer Rebels have signed Matthew Gard, their second-round pick at the 2022 Western Hockey League (WHL) Draft, to a WHL Standard Player Agreement.
Gard spent the 2021/22 season in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) with the RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg U15 Prep team. In 27 games the Winnipeg, MB forward recorded 10 goals and 32 assists.
