The Red Deer Rebels have signed OHA Edmonton U18 Prep forward Zane Saab to a Western Hockey League (WHL) Standard Player Agreement (SPA) after drafting him in the third round, 47th overall in the 2021 WHL Draft.
Saab joined the Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) in 2020/21, scoring twice in three U15 Prep games. This year the Edmonton, AB forward has scored 10 goals to go along with 7 assists in 19 U18 Prep games.
Saab represented Team Alberta at the 2021 WHL Cup, leading the team in goals (5) and points (6), helping the team to a silver medal.
