Raiders sign RHA student athlete Gislason

The Prince Albert Raiders have signed Canadian Sport School Hockey League student athlete Tayem Gislason to a Western Hockey League Standard Player Agreement.

Gislason, 16, has attended the Rink Hockey Academy the past three seasons and currently plays on their Midget Prep team, where he has amassed 14 points (4-10-14) in 24 games this season.

The Winnipeg, MB product posted 25 points (2-23-25) in 36 games with the Rink Hockey Academy Elite 15 team last season, and nine points (0-9-9) in 30 games with their Bantam Prep team during the 2017-18 campaign.

Gislason, a six-foot-two defenceman, was selected by the Raiders in the sixth round, 119th overall, at the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft.
