Two year Canadian Sport School Hockey League student athlete Josh Niedermayer has signed to compete for the British Columbia Hockey League’s Penticton Vees for the 2020-21 season.
Last season, the Newport Beach, CA product recorded 10 goals and 10 assists (10-10-20) in 36 regular season games for Okanagan Hockey Academy Red’s U18 Prep team. The five foot eleven defenseman also added one assist (0-1-1) in two BDO CSSHL Championship games which were cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In 70 career CSSHL games, Niedermayer totaled 48 points, registering 23 goals and 25 assists (22-23-48).
