MJHL’s Blizzard sign Cooke

Canadian Sport School Hockey League student athlete Kieran Cooke will play for the Manitoba Junior Hockey League’s OCN Blizzard next season.

Cooke, 17, has attended the Rink Hockey Academy the past three seasons, most recently competing on their U18 Prep team, where he recorded 17 points (6-11-17) in 34 games, as well as one assist in two games at the 2020 BDO CSSHL Championships.

During the 2018-19 season, the Winnipeg, Man. product had 10 points (1-9-10) in 34 games with Rink’s U16 Prep team, while posting 13 points (2-11-13) in 20 games with their U15 Prep team the previous season.

Cooke made his MJHL debut during the 2019-20 season, scoring once and adding one assist in six games played with the Blizzard.
