Okanagan Hockey Academy (OHA) student-athlete Sky Thompson has committed to the Midland University Warriors for the 2021/22 season.
Originally from Balcarres, SK, Thompson spent two seasons in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL). The forward played in 12 games for the Banff Hockey Academy Female U18 Prep team during the 2019/20 season, before joining the OHA Female U18 Prep team this past year.
Midland University is located in Fremont, Nebraska. The Warriors are an American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) Division I program competing in the Women’s Midwest College Hockey League (WMCHL).
