Ethan McCallum has signed a Western Hockey League (WHL) Standard Player Agreement (SPA) with the Medicine Hat Tigers after they selected the Brandon, MB netminder in the second round, 39th overall in the 2021 WHL Draft.
McCallum is in his first season in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) with the Notre Dame Hounds U16 Prep team. In 22 games he has posted 4.15 goals against average and .904 save percentage. McCallum represented Team Manitoba at the 2021 WHL Cup, playing in three games and finishing with 3.01 goals against average and .904 save percentage.
