Martin Joins CSSHL as Manager, Media & Communications

The Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) is excited to announce the addition of Jordan Martin as Manager, Media & Communications.

“We are very pleased to have Jordan join the CSSHL in this full time role,” said Kevin Goodwin, CSSHL Chief Operating Officer. “Jordan’s vision, experience, passion and knowledge of the league will allow him to represent the league, its members and student athletes in a constructive manner and we are looking forward to implementing some of his concepts.”

Martin joins the CSSHL having spent the past three seasons in the league with the Northern Alberta Xtreme (NAX) as Marketing & Communications Manager and an assistant coach with their U16 Prep team.

Before working for NAX Martin attended MacEwan University, earning a degree in Bachelor of Communication Studies, Majoring in Journalism, while covering the University sports teams. He has spent time developing his skills working for SportsMEDIA Technology, the Leduc Representative and Merit Contractors Association. He would also spend two seasons as an assistant coach with the Maple Leafs Athletic Club (MLAC) at both the U18 AAA and U15 AAA levels.

Martin grew up in Sherwood Park, AB with his younger sister (Shae) and younger brother (Keaton). He currently lives in Edmonton, AB with his girlfriend Lonneke and their two cats, Lynx and Luna.
