Lakoduk to attend and play for American International College

Former Canadian Sport School Hockey League student athlete Darwin Lakoduk has committed to attend and play NCAA hockey at American International College (AIC).

Lakoduk, 19, attended the Northern Alberta Xtreme from 2015 to 2017.

During the 2016-17 season, the Edmonton, AB product posted 17 points (5-12-17) in 28 games with the Northern Alberta Xtreme Midget Prep team, while the previous season, he netted 21 points (7-14-21) in 28 games with their Elite 15 team, helping his team capture the 2016 CSSHL Elite 15 Division Championship.

The 5-foot-10 forward is currently playing with the BCHL’s Penticton Vees, where he has registered seven points (3-4-7) in 24 games, after posting 12 points (5-7-12) in 25 games with the Victoria Grizzlies to start the season.

American International College, located in Springfield, MA, competes in the NCAA Division I Atlantic Hockey Association.
