The Lethbridge Hurricanes have signed Canadian Sport School Hockey League student athlete Easton Kovacs to a Western Hockey League Standard Player Agreement.
Kovacs, 15, has attended the Delta Hockey Academy the past three seasons, most recently appearing in 34 games with their U16 Prep team, where he netted four goals and 12 assists.
The Delta, B.C. product spent the 2019-19 season with the Delta U15 Prep White team, amassing 10 points (3-7-10) in 29 games. The season prior, Kovacs recorded 15 points (3-12-15) in 30 games with Delta’s U15 team.
The six-foot-two defenceman was not selected at the WHL Draft, but was listed by the Hurricanes in 2019.
