The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League’s (SJHL) Notre Dame Hounds have signed two players with Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) ties.
Stonewall, MB forward Peyton Bateman spent the last three seasons in the CSSHL with RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg. Bateman joined the program in 2019/20, recording 16 points in 36 U16 Prep games. He would spend the following two seasons with the U18 Prep team, including captaining the team in 2021/22, tallying 43 points in 39 games.
Keagan Merriman played the 2019/20 and 2020/21 seasons in the CSSHL with Notre Dame. In 19 U16 Prep games the Wilcox, SK forward would tally 8 points, followed by 8 points in 8 U17 Prep games the next season.
