Hitmen sign Yale’s Siepmann

The Calgary Hitmen have signed Canadian Sport School Hockey League student athlete Grayden Siepmann to a standard Western Hockey League (WHL) Player Agreement.

Siepmann, 14, has attended the Yale Hockey Academy the past two seasons, playing on their Bantam Prep team.

In 59 career Bantam Prep Division games, the 5-foot-11 defenceman netted 33 points (9-24-33), along with five points (2-3-5) in eight games at the BDO CSSHL Championships, helping his team capture the 2019 CSSHL Bantam Prep Division Championship.

Siepmann was selected by the Hitmen in the first round, 13th overall, at the 2019 WHL Bantam Draft.
