The Calgary Hitmen have signed a pair of Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) student-athletes to Western Hockey League (WHL) Standard Player Agreements.
A third-round pick, 51st overall by the Hitmen at the 2022 WHL Draft, Hunter Aura is set to join Yale Hockey Academy for the upcoming U18 Prep season. It will be the Kamloops, BC defenseman’s first in the CSSHL.
London Hoilett spent the last three seasons in the CSSHL with his hometown RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg. Hoilett joined the program in 2019/20, recording 18 goals and 11 assists in 30 U15 Prep games. He would add four points in three U16 Prep games the following season, before scoring a team best 19 goals this past year with the RHA Winnipeg U18 Prep team. The forward would also add 16 assists, giving him 35 points in 36 games.
