Halaburda signs Standard Player Agreement with Giants

The Vancouver Giants have signed Canadian Sport School Hockey League student athlete Ty Halaburda to a Western Hockey League Standard Player Agreement.

Halaburda, 15, has attended the Pacific Coast Hockey Academy the past two seasons, most recently racking up 53 points (27-26-53) in 28 games with their U15 Prep team, while also adding three points (1-2-3) in two games at the 2020 BDO CSSHL Championships.

The Victoria, B.C. product also spent the 2018-19 season with Pacific Coast’s U15 Prep team, collecting 24 points (5-19-24) in 29 games.

Halaburda was selected by the Giants in the second round, 32nd overall, at the 2020 WHL Bantam Draft.
