Game Day Recap – September 24, 2021

Northern Alberta Xtreme (3) at Edge School (6) – U16 Prep

The first CSSHL game in 561 days saw the visiting NAX pull out to a lead 1:11 into the game on a goal by Owen Berge. Edge was unfazed by the early lead as Terik Parascak would lead the way offensively with two goals as Edge skated to a 6-3 win in the opening game of the season.

Northern Alberta Xtreme (10) at Edge School (3) – U15 Prep

Cole Reschny led the way for NAX with four goals and four assists as NAX beat Edge 10-3. Jake Crumley, Ryan Miller, and Jack Toogood all found the back of the net twice for NAX while Cash Koch, Logan Murray, and Ben Binder Nord scored for Edge. 

Rink Hockey Academy Kelowna (5) at Okanagan Hockey Academy (1) – U16 Prep

RINK Kelowna had five different skaters find the back of the net and Preston Patenaude made 43 saves on 44 shots in a 5-1 win. Landon Garbitt stopped 39 of 44 for OHA and Kayden Clarke scored their lone goal. 

Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (9) at West Van Academy (6)  – U16 Prep

Nicholas Scott had a hattrick and Brendon Hall had three assists as Pacific Coast beat West Van 9-6 in a high scoring game.  Shann Mann scored twice for West Van while Brandon Osborne added three points in the loss. Taber Penner picked up the win in net for Pacific Coast.
