GAME DAY RECAP: October 15-16, 2025

RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg (3) vs Pilot Mound Hockey Academy (2) U15 Prep

It didn’t take long for RHA Winnipeg sharpshooter Easton Pitz (2G) to get his team on the board, scoring a mere 73-seconds into this contest in Pilot Mound, MB. RHA Winnipeg would hold on to this lead into the second, but a quick powerplay goal from Buffaloes forward Edin Korajac brought this game back to even terms. Our next goal would come late in the second as Moe Garcia (1G, 1A) wired one from the slot over the glove of Gage Romanchuk (47/50). In the third, another early strike from Pilot Mound tied this contest with Max Faulkner scoring his first of the season. It looked as if this game would need overtime heading into the late stages of the third but Pitz would make a tremendous solo effort down the left wing, beating his defender and retrieving the puck after a flying poke check from Romanchuk, giving RHA Winnipeg the lead and the eventual win. Romanchuk played phenomenal, recording 47 saves in the loss while Haize Brightnose (28/30) posted 28 saves in the win.

RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna (7) vs Wenatchee Wild Hockey Academy (0) U18 Prep

RHA Kelowna continues to rule the U18 Prep division with an iron fist as they steamrolled their way over Wenatchee on their home turf. Brody Bradshaw (3G) opened the scoring with RHA Kelowna’s first two goals of the match. Reid Rabinovitch (2G) would ignite the scoring in the second, followed by two late goals from Joshua Johnstone (1G, 1A) and Bradshaw, completing his hat-trick on a shorthanded rush with Carson Smith (3A). Rabinovitch would add his second in the third along with a sweetener from Porter Rossi in the late stages. Asher Netherton (24/24) was in goal for the win, collecting his second shutout of the young season.
