GAME DAY RECAP: November 30, 2025

Stanstead College (4/OT) vs Fort Erie International Academy (3) East U17 Prep

Stanstead College earned a 4–3 overtime win in a thriller that saw big swings late, as Fort Erie opened the scoring in the first through Edouard Morin (2G) off a setup from Vladimir Palash (2A), before Stanstead answered in the second when Kristian Tlstovic (2G) buried a clean finish from Sean Dwyer (2A). Stanstead then surged ahead early in the third with goals from Kristian-Benjamin Carreno (1G, 1A), followed minutes later by another strike from Tlstovic. Fort Erie refused to go away, tying the game in the final minute when Morin netted his second then Zachary Girard (1G) stunned the building 28 seconds later. Overtime, however, belonged to Stanstead as Mathieu Généreux (1G) jumped into the play and finished the winner at 4:27, assisted by Carreno and Dwyer to close out the back-and-forth battle.

RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg (12) vs Prairie Hockey Academy (2) U15

RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg won for a third time this year against Prairie Hockey Academy in emphatic fashion, exploding for a 12–2 win. It took only 81 seconds for the rout to begin as Cooper Greenham (1G, 1A) buried the first one, and moments later Brock Labelle (1G, 3A) doubled the lead before PHA briefly stopped the bleeding thanks to a goal from James Lanoie (1G). From there the game turned into a showcase of RHA Winnipeg’s speed and power-play precision: Nash Smook (1G, 3A) opened the floodgates early in the second, followed by goals from Jake Gagro (2G, 1A), Caleb Church (2G), Max Manaigre (3G), Fellner, and Agapito as they struck six times in the middle frame and went 4-for-8 on the man advantage. The third period brought more of the same as Church, Manaigre twice, and Gagro kept piling on while Prairie’s frustration boiled over into penalty after penalty, eventually totalling 32 minutes. Titan Sauter (1G) added a late consolation for Prairie, but the morning belonged entirely to RINK Winnipeg, who fired 51 shots, cashed in on special teams, and got a steady performance from Cooper Beardy (26/28) to finish off a dominant weekend and extend their win streak to ten straight.

Edge School (1) vs Balmoral Hall School (2) Female U18 Prep

Balmoral Hall edged out a tight 2–1 win over Edge School in a game that never opened up but instead turned into a special-teams chess match, highlighted by big goaltending and a pair of perfectly timed goals from Payton Henwood (2G). After a scoreless first where both teams traded rushes and drew penalties without capitalizing, Edge struck first midway through the second when Aoife Scase (1G) jumped into the play and buried a feed from Abigail Lee (1A) and Mika Higgins (1A). But the momentum flipped quickly, Edge took back-to-back penalties, and Balmoral Hall pounced, tying the game on the power play through Henwood off a clean setup from Lydia Hill (2A). Then, with just one second left in the period, Henwood, again, delivered a dagger, finishing another Hill feed to put BHS ahead. Edge pushed hard in the third, outshooting Balmoral Hall and earning multiple power plays, but Mimi Ferreira (46/47) slammed the door while Alexis Ehrman (39/41) was equally strong at the other end. But without another breakthrough, Edge couldn’t erase the late-second-period swing that decided the game.

Northern Alberta Xtreme (9) vs Pilot Mound Hockey Academy (2) U15 Prep

Northern Alberta Xtreme kept their hot streak rolling with a dominant 9–2 win over Pilot Mound, NAX got multi-goal performances throughout the lineup. Rylan Edwards (1G, 1A) opened the scoring off a clean feed from Logan Schoettler (1A), and after Aiden Kelly (1G) briefly tied it for Pilot Mound, however NAX answered with back-to-back goals from Jett Evans (3G). He completed his hat trick early in the second before the NAX depth took over, with Gavin Van Brabant (1G), Liam Bordt (1G), and Malakai Andrews (2G) all finding the back of the net as Jared Ryan (1G, 2A) continued to drive the offense from the back end. Andrews added another early in the third while Pilot Mound broke through once more with a goal from Oliver Helsen (1G) before Ryan capped the night with a late strike. Despite being outshot in the second period, NAX controlled the pace wire to wire, finishing with 45 shots and getting a steady 27-save performance from Kash Anderson (27/29) as they pushed their unbeaten run to five games.

Delta Hockey Academy Green (1) vs North Shore Warriors (2) Female U18 Prep

North Shore handed Delta just their second home loss of the season with a tightly played 2–1 win, surviving a 50-shot barrage thanks to a brilliant performance from Haylie Hedges (49/50) and two perfectly timed goals that held up under constant pressure. NSW struck first on the power play midway through the opening frame when Chloe Burgher (1G) cleaned up a rebound created by Castilla Rubin (1A) and Peyton Mages (1A), giving the Warriors an early cushion despite being heavily outshot. Delta pushed back hard in the second and finally broke through when Saya Earl (1G) snapped home her first of the season, but that was all they could solve as Hedges continued to swallow everything thrown her way. In the third, North Shore needed just one clean look to regain the lead. Alexa Roberts (1G) buried in the slot off a sharp passing play from Gia Carella (1A) and Calle Shanahan (1A). Despite a late push and another power-play chance, Delta couldn’t find the equalizer, finishing 0-for-4 with the extra skater as North Shore’s special teams and goaltending proved the difference in a game where Delta carried the shot clock, but NSW executed in all the key moments.

Prairie Hockey Academy (3) vs Edge School (2) U17

Prairie Hockey Academy finally flipped the script against Edge, grinding out a 3–2 win after dropping the previous four meetings. Edge opened the scoring when Carter Greaves (1G) buried one, but PHA answered with a strong push late in the first: first Soren Hayden (1G) snapped one home then Kase Gellner (1G) struck unassisted to give Prairie the lead. Edge tied it on a second-period power play when Trent Caines (1G) finished a slick passing play from Easton Armstrong (1A) and Kylar Alves (1A), but Prairie’s own power play delivered the difference-maker early in the third Jake Myhre (1G) ripping home his 11th of the season. From there, Kayden Gregoire (31/33) shut it down while PHA’s penalty kill survived a chaotic third period where Edge racked up misconducts and pushed late. Prairie closed it out for a hard-earned win, handing Edge just their second loss of the season.

Bishop’s College School (9/OT) vs Ontario Hockey Academy (8) East U18 Prep

Bishop’s College School outlasted Ontario Hockey Academy in an incredible 9–8 overtime thriller, powered by a huge night from Taitt Dobbin (3G, 2A) who completed his hat trick with the OT winner. Alongside a five-assist performance from Luca Stasi (5A) and multi-point efforts from Dominic Schnarr (2G), Bastien Michaud (1G, 2A), Raphael Poulin (2A), Kayden Robitaille (2A). OHA came out firing with three early power-play goals from Owen Kelly (2G, 1A), Oliver Anderton (2G), and Nathaniel Noah (3G, 1A), supported by big nights from Kaemon Tran (4A), Mathis-Cael Aurelius (3A), and Simon Leblanc (2A), before BCS clawed back and traded goals all game long. The teams combined for 17 goals, including third period strikes from Jan Vladar (1G), Michaud, Schnarr, Jockers, Rusenstrom (1G), Jordan King (1G), and Noah completing his hat trick, but Dobbin sealed it in OT to give BCS the win in one of the wildest games of the season.

OHA Edmonton (8) vs RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg (1) U15 Prep

OHA Edmonton exploded for six third-period goals to steamroll RINK Winnipeg 8–1, turning a tight game into a blowout behind a monster night from Kelson Hawreluik (2G, 1A), Hayden Harvey (2G), Kane Strudwick (1G, 3A), and Ian Kim (1G, 2A) while Connor Phillips (30/31) shut the door at the other end. RHA Winnipeg struck first early in the second when Aiden Christie (1G) scored, but momentum flipped fast as Steven Leavitt (1G) tied it off feeds from Strudwick and Erik Miller (2A), and two minutes later Hawreluik buried the go-ahead goal. The third period was pure OHA domination: Kim (1G, 2A) made it 3–1, Strudwick (1G, 3A) added insurance, then Hawreluik struck again. Special teams took over late, Harvey scored twice, once on the power play, and Pashko added another PP marker. RINK Winnipeg’s parade to the box fed OHA’s 2-for-5 power play, and Phillips’ steady goaltending let Edmonton run away with a dominant, statement win.

Notre Dame Hounds (1) vs Calgary International Hockey Academy (7) U17 Prep

Calgary International Hockey Academy rolled to a dominant 7–1 win over Notre Dame. Zoe Cramer (1G) briefly tied the game early for Shawnigan, assisted by Grace Cooper (1A) and Tess McGee (1A), but RHA Kelowna struck back immediately and never let up, scoring three times in the first, three more in the second, and one in the third while outshooting their opponent heavily. Jaya Schippel (28/29) was steady with 28 saves in the win.

Edge School (4) vs Prairie Hockey Academy (2) U18 Prep

Edge School controlled the special-teams battle and rode a huge performance from Carsten Leyerzapf (42/44) to a 4–2 win over Prairie Hockey Academy. Eric Wagman (1G, 1A) opened the scoring on the power play, followed late in the first by Luke Huska (1G, 1A), both set up by a red-hot Ashton McCann (3A). In the second, Remy Koch (1G, 1A) added another power play goal before PHA answered through Grant Gliege (2G), who later struck again early in the third with help from Tristan Hoko (1A) and Trey Bohlken (2A). But a late second-period marker from Grayson Bauer (1G) provided the insurance Edge needed. Despite being outshot heavily, Edge went 3-for-7 on the man advantage and stayed composed while PHA racked up 49 penalty minutes, sealing a disciplined, opportunistic victory.

Yale Hockey Academy (2) vs RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna (3/SO) U18 Prep

RINK Kelowna stayed perfect on the season, edging Yale 3–2 in a shootout after a tight, low-event defensive battle where both goalies, Micah Davidson (33/35) and Parker Kulmatycki (33/35) matched each other all morning. Yale struck first when Gunho Choi (1G) buried a feed from Maxwell Carpenter (1A), but RHA Kelowna answered through Carson Smith (1G, 1A), supported by Ayden Saran (1A) and Brody Bradshaw (2A). In the second, Nate Macphee (1G) pushed RINK Kelowna ahead before Seth Castronuovo (1G) equalized off setups from Alex Ostrovskyy (1A) and Joey Brandt (1A). Overtime solved nothing, and in the shootout, Jonathan Bitonti was the lone scorer for Yale, while Rhett Tubello and Bradshaw converted for Kelowna, sealing another unbeaten outing for the league leaders.

Okanagan Hockey Academy Black (1) vs Delta Hockey Academy Black (4) Female U18 Prep

In the third, Neveah Brankovic (1G) extended the lead before OHA Black finally answered through Emily Kempers (1G) on a pass from Shriya Bhatt (1A). Delta sealed it late when Kinleigh Blane (1G) struck on the power play, while Eszter Schober (10/11) backstopped a defensive effort that allowed just 11 shots all game.

RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna (4) vs Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (7) U15 Prep

Pacific Coast powered past RINK Kelowna 7–4 on the strength of a four-goal explosion by Cal McCall (4G, 1A), who opened the scoring early and never stopped driving the offence. After McCall’s early marker, he added another on the PP before RHA Kelowna answered with Jaxon Lodge (2G), who struck twice, once on the man advantage, then again late in the period. But PCHA kept pressing as Rowan Hodgson (1G) converted on the PP from Mason Sokolosky (2A) and Ben McKamey (1A), Benedek Schillinger (1G) added another with help from Arlen Brimacombe (1A) and Kaleb Ketch (2A), and McCall completed his hat trick before adding a fourth into the empty net. RHAK clawed back in the third with two goals from Dexter Labrecque (2G), the first set up by Rayman Sall (1A) and Berkeley Reid (1A), but Sokolosky (1G, 2A) restored the cushion late.

Northern Alberta Xtreme (8) vs Pilot Mound Hockey Academy (1) U18 Prep

St. George’s pushed back with their best pressure of the game, but OHA sealed it shorthanded when Kristian Bowen (1G) buried a breakaway created by Levi Leitner (1A). Linden Hartford (29/29) was flawless, turning aside every shot he faced to secure the shutout for Okanagan.

Delta Hockey Academy (5) vs St. George’s School (1) U15 Prep

Delta took control after an early exchange of goals and rolled to a 5–1 win, sparked by a two-goal performance from Jake Dunlop (2G), who tied the game on a power play in the first before adding his second early in the middle frame. From there the offence kept coming. Josh Anderson (1G) buried one and Miles Teiffel (1G) extended the lead off a pass from Ryder Pavlic (1A). St. George’s only goal came early from Jayden Ni (1G), but they were shut down the rest of the way by Jace Zemanek (22/23).  Edge School’s Cohen Snukal-Lyon (2G) and Kyson Sylvester (1G, 1A) scored within three minutes of each other in the first period of their Sunday U15 clash with the Northern Alberta Xtreme, and while NAX’s efforts to come from behind were palpable, it came up short. Snukal-Lyon scored in the third period to extend Edge School’s lead further, with NAX’s top gun, Mason Zimmer (1G, 1A,) picking up two points in the ultimately unsuccessful comeback effort.

South Alberta Hockey Academy (4) vs RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg (1) Female U18 Prep

South Alberta Hockey Academy and RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg played forty razor-thin minutes of hockey, each hitting the other’s net with 29 shots apiece. Come the third period, RHA Winnipeg threw everything at the SAHA net. They dominated the final twenty minutes, outshooting SAHA 19-4 during the last period of the game, but couldn’t make up the gap. Ava Hrubeniuk scored for RHAW to cut the lead in half, but SAHA’s Sara Murdoch extended the lead further and out of RHAW’s reach for a 4-1 SAHA win. Goaltender Mika Yokota made 47 saves on 48 shots for SAHA in their victory, her fifth straight win, a streak that’s only seen her concede three goals over five games, the same number of goals against as shutouts she’s earned over that five-game stretch.

OHA Edmonton (4) vs Calgary International Hockey Academy (5) U15

A back-and-forth clash at Winsport in Calgary saw OHA Edmonton dominate the final forty minutes in their clash with the Calgary International Hockey Academy. CIHA at every level of the CSSHL this season have been able to score at will, and despite the fact they were outshot 39-22 by OHAE, they did so again. Reid Grierson (2G, 1A) notched three points to lead CIHA offensively, and his production, aided by his teammates, saw CIHA 5-2 in front in the last four minutes of the third period. OHAE broke through with a couple late goals, including Jiseong Kim’s (1G, 1A) with less than two and a half minutes of play to make it a one-goal game, but the squad ultimately fell short.

Yale Hockey Academy (4) vs Delta Hockey Academy White (3) U15

Yale Hockey Academy’s first twenty minutes of play set them up for success against a Delta Hockey Academy White squad who were chasing from behind from the outset. Yale scored three in the first period, the second of which was Brady Barrett (1G, 1A), whose goal is his fifth in his past four games. Delta pushed back significantly, scoring two in the second and not ceasing their pressure heading into the third, but could only run into Mason Baptiste (27/30) any time they got within touching distance of an equalizer. Yale’s Emmett Rumbold’s third-period goal stood as the game-winner.

Okanagan Hockey Academy (5) vs BWC Academy (3) U17

Okanagan Hockey Academy and BWC Academy traded goals in the first period, with Nathan Marques’ (1G, 1A) early goal cancelled out by that of Kaz Westcott, whose goal was aided by Easton Coupland’s first of two primary assists in the game. BWC led 3-2 through two, but come the third, Cole Schellenberg (2G, 1A) happened. After a primary assist on the first goal, Schellenberg scored two barely four minutes apart to turn the lead around. OHA held on from there, with Holden Tamm’s 32 saves crucial in the 5-3 win.

St. George’s School (4) vs Shawnigan Lake School (2) U17 Prep

The course of Sunday’s game between St. George’s School and Shawnigan Lake School in the U17 Prep division was entirely flipped by the second period of play. SLS’ Carson Preet (2G) scored both the only goal of the first and third periods, but St. George’s damage was done entirely in a ten-minute window of second-period play. Zach Lam (1G, 1A), Logan Okamura, Nathaniel Moore, and Tarik Lammam (1G, 1A) each scored a powerplay goal, with SGS making good on each of their four chances on the man advantage in the second period. Notre Dame Hounds (4) vs South Alberta Hockey Academy (8) U15 Prep

AJ Bryan would erase the Hounds’ deficit early in the second with another powerplay tally; however, SAHA’s powerplay would restore their lead soon after courtesy of Mason Bryksa (2G). SAHA and Notre Dame would trade goals back-and-forth until the end of the second. Bryksa’s second was able to put SAHA ahead 5-4 before the ice clean. In the third, SAHA would run away with it, potting three unanswered goals to take this contest 8-4. Early in the third, Cole Gann (1G, 1A) got North Shore back to within two with his first of the year. However, RHA Kelowna would hold on through NSW’s late charge. North Shore Warriors (5) vs Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (6/SO) U15

Following a scoreless first, Abel Lindsay (2G) would net back-to-back goals for the Warriors, giving them a 2-0 lead heading into the third. In the final frame, the scoring would finally take off. A power-play goal from Koen Nicholas (1G, 1A) sparked a chain of three goals for PCHA, giving them their first lead of the match under ten minutes into the frame. However, Max Darlow and Langdon Moore would strike twice in 48 seconds to tie and take the lead back for the Warriors. Coming off a six-point performance, Gus Steeves (2G, 2A) would tie things up once again for the Sea Devils, but the Warriors would clap back in the late stages of the third as Sawyer Shepard (1G, 1A) buried his ninth of the season. Only 14 seconds later, Austin Murray would also score his ninth of the season to force overtime for the Sea Devils. No answer was found in the extra frame, nor the opening three rounds of the shootout. St. George’s School (4) vs Okanagan Hockey Academy (2) U18 Prep

After falling to OHA 9-2 on Friday and coming just shy of beating RHA Kelowna on Saturday, St. George’s entered this game with vengeance in mind. In the opening frame, the Saints would strike twice on the powerplay as Jason Gao and Isaac Derksen (2G, 1A) established a 2-0 lead. In the second, Wade Gallamore would put OHA on the board with a powerplay marker while Penticton Vees prospect Talon Scinocca tied things later in the frame. All tied up in the late stages of the third, Derksen would feed Lucas Benn in the slot for the eventual game-winning goal. Delano Pockar (37/40) was in goal for the win, making 37 saves in the process.

North Shore Warriors (2) vs Shawnigan Lake School (7) U18 Prep

Sidney Armstrong (1G, 1A) and Maddoch Bond would score 44 seconds apart to put Shawnigan up by a pair early. Jack Poole would get one back for North Shore soon after, but Shawnigan’s offence would close the opening frame with another two thanks to the efforts of Nigel Alberts (2G) and Keegan Shirley (1G, 2A). Alberts would bury his second of the night for the middle frame’s lone goal, extending their lead to 5-1. Sullivan Bryan and Wylie Wen (1G, 1A) would put this one out of reach for North Shore in the third, capping off a strong performance on home ice to close out their weekend.

Delta Hockey Academy (4) vs Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (1) U18 Prep

The freight train that has been Delta Hockey Academy in the U18 Prep division this season kept on going Sunday evening against the Pacific Coast Hockey Academy, doing so through an early powerplay goal from Kristian Saggo (1G, 1A). Saggo’s now got points in eight of his last nine games for Delta, with his two points in today’s game giving him five goals and 13 points over that stretch. The Wenatchee Wild prospect wasn’t the only standout, with Vancouver Giants prospect Dylan Hurren hitting the top corner on the powerplay, one of three goals Delta’s man advantage would muster in the game. Up a pair through two, Delta extended the lead in the third, eventually coasting to a 4-1 win, finishing November perfect with four wins in four league games this month.
