Prairie Hockey Academy (9) vs Pilot Mound Hockey Academy (3) U18 Prep
A Matt Healey (2G) goal 51 seconds in paved the way for the PHA offence as they defeated PMHA 9-3. Healey, Carson Haugan (2G, 1A) and Jacob Michelson (2G) all scored twice and Bryson Aikens (1G, 3A) and Devun Olfert (3A) picked up three assists. Michael Malinowski (17/20) was in net for the win while Casey Castleberry (68/77) faced 77 shots in the loss.
Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (2) vs RHA Kelowna (10) U16 Prep
RHA Kelowna outshot PCHA 61-29 en route to a 10-2 win. Tristen Bailey (1G, 5A) led all skaters with six points and Cole Serdachny (3G, 1A) added a hattrick. Carter Biggs (2G, 1A), Luca Cupello (1G, 2A) and Ryder Mead (3A) each recorded three points.
Notre Dame (3) vs Edge School (6) U16 Prep
Sawyer Samycia (2G, 2A) would lead all skaters with four points and Jackson Bond (1G, 1A), Lucas Frame (1G, 1A), and Lincoln Martin (2A) would all recorded multi point games as Edge defeated Notre Dame 6-3. Brooke Davis (20/23) made 20 saves to record her fourth win of the season. Will St. James (3A) tallied three assists for Notre Dame in the loss.
Indigenous Sports Academy (3) vs OHA Edmonton (4/OT) U17 Prep
Hunter Yee (3G) would score twice in the first period, including 13 seconds into the game, and again 28 seconds into overtime as OHA Edmonton won 4-3. Riley Kelly scored early in the second to give OHA Edmonton a 3-0 lead but Sage Roberts, Kallum Windigo, and Jake Yakubowski would all score for ISA to tie the game and force OT. Logan Sawatzky (34/37) earned the win in net for OHA Edmonton.
Delta Hockey Academy (3) vs Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (4) U18 Prep
Trace Anderson would score just 1:51 into the first but Delta forward Jack Bakker would tie the game just 52 seconds later. Jase Johnstone and Jakob Oreskovic (1G, 1A) would trade second period goals before Wyatt Blace (1G, 1A) and Kanye Huang would start the third with goals for PCHA as they grabbed a 4-2 lead. Rajun Parmar would score with just one second left but Ryan Parker’s (27/30) 27 saves would be enough to give PCHA the win.
North Shore Warriors (2) vs Okanagan Hockey Academy (5) U15
OHA outshot North Shore 43-20 in a 5-2 win Sunday morning. Colton Deschamps (2A) and Griffin Hoy (2A) each tallied two assists while Zephyr Harms (1G, 1A) had two points of his own in the win. Mason Patterson (18/20) made 18 saves, giving up goals to Jack Hickin and Kaustav Pradeep.
Notre Dame (2) vs International Hockey Academy (5) U17 Prep
Kesar Deol scored just 35 seconds in but Carter Graw would score 7 minutes later to tie the game. Jacob Horb (1G, 2A) would score his 11th goal of the season to close out the first period and give IHA a 2-1 lead. Michiel Leenders (1G, 2A) would score early in the second but a Wilson Dowse marker would bring the game back to within one heading into the third. Ayaan Vira (2G, 1A) would score two powerplay markers in the final period to secure the 5-2 victory for IHA.
BWC Academy (2) vs RHA Kelowna (7) U17 Prep
RHA Kelowna scored four straight goals to start the game, including two from Dylan Ruff. Peyton Dorman would get BWC Academy on the board with a powerplay tally with just one second left in the second. However, three more third period goals from RHA Kelowna would put the game out of reach.
Yale Hockey Academy (1) vs RHA Kelowna (3) U18 Prep
Fresh off his WHL debut on Friday night, Grant Reid opened the scoring for Yale late in the first period. But Evan Gardner (51/52) would make an impressive 51 saves while John Franceschetti (1G, 1A), Reegan Komink, and Jon McElmurry would all find the back of the net in a 3-1 comeback victory over Yale. Ethan Eskit (30/33) was in net for Yale in the loss.
Shawnigan Lake School (6) vs Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (1) U15 Prep
After a scoreless first Markus Nichols would score his first goal of the season 2:38 into the middle frame. But Shawnigan would respond with six unanswered goals including two by Colten Roberts (2G) and Eric Wagman (2G, 1A). Sidney Armstrong (2A), Nolan Blankstein (2A), Sullivan Bryan (1G, 2A), and Riley Ferris (2A) would each record two assists. Stefan Kostin stopped 26 of the 27 shots he faced to earn the win.
Yale Hockey Academy (4) vs Delta Hockey Academy (1) U17 Prep
Jordan Sandhu would open the scoring for Delta 6:23 into the game. Tommy Lafreniere (1G, 1A) would tie the game minutes later, kickstarting a run of four straight Yale goals as Ilija Majkic (2G, 1A) and Tej Dhaliwal would also find the back of the net. Domenik McInenly (24/25) was in net for Yale for the win.
Okanagan Hockey Academy (1) vs St. George’s School (2/SO) U17 Prep
Markus Lam scored the lone goal for St .George’s while Wyatt Danyleyko responded for OHA in the second period. Austin Ball (33/34) and Ryan Tamelin (25/26) each gave up just one goal through 65 minutes of action, before Ball stopped both OHA shooters and Nemo Kalola and Lam each scored in the shootout to give St. George’s the win.
