Delta Hockey Academy (2) vs BWC Academy (3/SO) U15
After a scoreless first period, both teams traded goals in the final two frames. Jack Morgan scored on the powerplay for Delta Hockey Academy and Luke Anderson added his first goal. Ermolai Yarygin found the back of the net for BWC Academy, while Declan Iacoviello scored the tying marker to force extra time. Overtime solved nothing, so a shootout was required, where Sam Shepard scored the game-winner for BWC Academy.
St. George’s School (2) vs Edge School (4) U15
Nathan Cole scored twice for Edge School, while Mirco Dufour had a three-point performance, with a goal and two assists. James Matheos scored a goal and added a helper to round it out for Edge School. Braxton Gibson made 19 saves to pick up the win between the pipes.
OHA Edmonton (4) vs Okanagan Hockey Academy (10) U15 Prep
Okanagan Hockey Academy hit double digits on the scoreboard, scoring ten times on 39 shots. Liam Ruck had six points, with a goal and five assists, Markus Ruck had a hat-trick and two helpers, while Mathis Preston scored four goals for OHA. Keegan Bailey added a goal and three assists and Kayden O’Brien rounded out the scoring with a goal and two helpers. Noah Kelly scored twice for OHA Edmonton in the loss.
North Shore Warriors (3) vs Northern Alberta Xtreme (9) U15
Kale Breton led the way offensively for Northern Alberta Xtreme scoring five goals in the game. Jackson Tetreault scored a goal and four assists, Jaggar John added a goal and two helpers, Kyle Denis had a solo tally and an assist, while Kayne Wright added four assists for NAX. Chase Vossenaar scored twice in the loss for the North Shore Warriors.
RHA Kelowna (2) vs Yale Hockey Academy (3) U15
Shaun Hildebrandt scored twice for Yale Hockey Academy, while Gavin Bradley scored the eventual game-winner in the third period. On the other side, Jack Brown lit the lamp twice for RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna in the loss. Nevin Connor picked up the win between the pipes for YHA, turning aside 20 of 22 shots he faced.
BWC Academy (2) vs RHA Kelowna (4) U15 Prep
Cage Smith (2G, 1A) opened the scoring with 22 seconds left in the first to give RHA Kelowna the lead. Ty Bonkowski tied the game in the second but Cruz Waltze (1G, 1A) responded 28 seconds later and Maddox Gandha added one another 37 seconds later. Hunter Ashton would bring BWC Academy within one midway through the third but an empty net goal by Smith with one second remaining secured the win. Steele Bass (23/25) made 23 saves in the win.
Delta Hockey Academy Black (0) vs Northern Alberta Xtreme (11) U15 Prep
Tucker Tullikopf (6G, 1A) scored six goals and Sawyer Dingman (2A), Daxon Rudolph (1G, 2A) and Nolan Stewart (2A) each added two assists as NAX beat Delta Black 11-0. Taylor Raynard (14/14) made 14 saves to earn the shutout.
Shawnigan Lake School (2) vs Edge School (9) U15 Prep
Edge School outshot Shawnigan Lake 69-12 en route to a 9-2 win. Defenseman Dylan Deets (1G, 2A) led all skaters with three points while Brendan Rudolph (2G) scored twice in the win. Tracen Ashley (2A), Owen Cooper (2A), Miles Copeland (2A), and Zach Olsen (2A) all added two assists. Liam Ryan (60/69) made 60 saves in the loss.
RHA Winnipeg (3) vs St. George’s School (2) U15 Prep
River Arnason (2G) and Lucas Benn traded first period goals before Jacob Schwartz and Arnason scored for their respective teams in the second period. The game would go right down to the wire before Sage Dela Cruz scored for RHA Winnipeg with 38 seconds remaining to give them a 3-2 win. Peyton Shore (29/31) made 29 saves for the win while Eric Tu (27/30) was in net for the loss.
North Shore Warriors (1) vs RHA Kelowna (6) U15
Ryan Sadovia (3G, 2A) recorded a hattrick and Jack Brown (1G, 3A) had four points to pace the RHA Kelowna offence to a 6-1 win Wednesday. Aiden Andrews and Logan Arnold scored the other RHA Kelowna goals in the win. Peter Banicevic scored the lone North Shore goal in the loss.
Delta Hockey Academy Green (4) vs Yale Hockey Academy (1) U15 Prep
Taran Biring scored 1:12 into the game, Nathaniel Danielson (1G, 1A) and Lukas Lima scored second period goals and Joshua Lee (1G, 1A) scored midway through the third as Delta Green defeated Yale 4-1. Jacob Dumansky would score the lone Yale third period goal to end Ashton Thornton’s (21/22) shutout bid. Aiden Eskit (17/21) made 17 saves in the loss.
